I am put together a new PC and will use windows XP home for the first. Does
anyone know if office 97 will work on windows XP home? I use it to keep
track of my medical stuff.
Thanks Johnny

I am sure he asked if Office 97 would work...............
You can try it, I am pretty sure Office 97 will work with Windows XP.

That's correct. But the answer is the same. It will work, but needs to
be updated.

Office 97 SP2 will work fine, a couple of minor niggles are that the
spellchecker may not work in Outlook Express, and the "send to email" option
in Word may not work. There are fixes for these.

niggles!
sounds like i need to add this into my anti-gigglesware...?

Yes, it definitely works. Even Office 95 works (or at least Word 95, I
haven't tried the other components).
