Office 2007 - Asking for 2000 SR-1

When I click on some email in OE it tells me the program I am trying to use
in on the Word 2000 SR-1 disk.

I tried uninstalling 2000 from Add/Remove but it failed because I did not
have the disk.

I don't have that disk any more. Is there a way to get this to stop? Thanks

Hi ADKR,

This information may help in removing Office 2000.

Basically if you upgraded from 2000 to 2007, any apps from 2000 that are no longer provided with 2007 (and there can be a handful of
them) are left in place.

Backup your files before proceeding, restart the PC after removing and you may need to repair or reinstall Office 2007 after this.
