I have installed Office2003 on a laptop using Windows XP Home edition. In
Word and Outlook unwanted text appears automatically.
How can I prevent this happening?

Do you have voice recognition active?

The text is not in a template, it appears gradually as if it is being typed,
the text does contain proper words but the sentances do not actually make any
sense. Any other ideas?

Do you have speech recognition enabled? If not, I'd suspect a virus.

No, voice recognition is not active.

Thank you, I do not have speech recognition enabled and have scanned the
computer for viruses but none were found, do you know of a particular virus
that can cause this problem?

No, I don't.
