Office 2003 -> Outlook exception 0xc00000fd

Hi,
I have office basic 2003 and am getting an Outlook exception. The
error report reads

code: 0xc00000fd
flags: 0x00000000
record: 0x000000000000000000
address: 0x0000000035f8547

I founded a few posts that guided me to uninstall and reinstall
windows, so I installed the windows install cleanup utility and
uninstalled/reinstalled office.

The re-installation did not fix the above error. Any ideas on how to
fix? It may not be related, but, starting last week, my email address
started being used by spammers in the from address which means I am getting a
tremendous amount of bouncebacks - I have set up many rules to permanently
delete these. Everything seemed to be working reasonably well until the
exception occurred. Now I am completely locked out of email

Many thanks

This happens when doing what? Post exact steps to reproduce.
Can you reproduce the error in Outlook Safe Mode as well?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

Robert - thanks for your reply

The error appears to be triggered by send and receive, but I'm not certain.
I can not go for more than 60 seconds without having the error appear.

I can indeed reproduce the error in outlook safe mode.

I tried the following fix today, but it wasn't successful:

- Created new profile via the control panel, copying the settings from the
previous profile (I'm popping my mail into outlook)

- I am able to receive 1-2 rounds of email but the error code continues to
pop up as described below.

Do you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook? Disable this
integration and try again.
Also note that you must recreate your mail profile manually. Do not use the
copy function as you'll end up copying the corruption as well.
