Office 2003 Access Report will not run in Vista, but will run in X

I have a database that has a query and a report based on the query. I am
using Vista and Officer 2003. I cannot get any report in any database to run
or display. No error message, it simply does nothing. I can't even get the
Report Wizard to run a new report (error at the end when clicking finish).
And yet, all reports work, same database in XP.

Access uses the metrics from the printer driver to calculate how to lay out
the report. Therefore if no printer is installed, or if there is a problem
with the default printer, or if there is a permissions problem related to
the printer, it cannot make the caculations, and so it cannot do the
reports.

Is there a printer installed?

Try installing another completely different printer as a local printer, and
make it your default. If the reports now work, you have verified that this
is the cause of the problem. (You don't have to buy a printer to do this.)

If that does no good, perhaps there is a problem with library references:

or with clashing versions of Access:

If reports work in other databases okay, you could try this recovery
sequence:
