Office 2000 Spell Check

As I was running spell check, i accidently added a few
words i wanted to ignore. These incorrect words are now
in my spell check as correct. How can I deleate them. I
tried to go to tools, options, spell check, select the
custom dictionary, then deleat it, but it is still
recognizing this misspelled words as correct. Can
someone please help me.

Click Tools
Options...
Spelling & Grammar tab
[Dictionaries...] button
[Edit] button
Remove the words
Save the Custom.dic file

This process disabled "Check Spelling as you type"
To enable it again:
Click the Tools menu
Options...
Spelling & Grammar tab
Check the box labeled Check Spelling as you type
Click [OK]
