OE6 Mail Import

Does anyone know how to restore mail into OE6. I had to
format my hard drive and re-install Windows ME recently.
All of my old mail folders were saved and are now .dbx
files. When I try the import mail feature, no matter which
options I select, OE6 does not seem to recognize the
old .dbx mail folders. Many thanks...
