OE5 attachments greyed out

attachments greyed out on win98 in outlook express 5

any help would be great
 
Are you sure you are using OE version 5.x? If you open a message with an
attachment, do you get an information box at the top of the message that OE
has blocked access to the files? If yes, you are running version 6.0SP1 and
need to visit Tools | Options | Security tab and uncheck the second box from
the top.
