OE email sending problem

After problems with McAfee virus scan update, and
multiple virus problems; now I cannot send email..get the
message "your SMTP server has not responded in 60
seconds. Would you like to wait another 60 sec. for the
server to respond. error #0x800CCC19. Everything else
works fine. Hotmail account is ok.
 
If you get a message that has to do with your STMP server or POP3 Server
contact your ISP for support.

Since I cannot send OE mail yet I cannot answer you.
My ISP says it is McAffee problem, McAfee says it is ISP
problem. The runaround game.
Sorry cannot help you as yet anyway.
 
Hi

Try uninstalling McAfee and see if that helps. If it does, leave it uninstalled.
