OE 6.0 Clash with Norton AntiSpam 2004

I purchased and installed Norton AntiSpam 2004 yesterday.
After the installation I was unable to establish an
internet connection through my router and cable modem.
Nothing else was changed other than that installation.
After trying many things, I booted up my laptop and found
it was able to connect, thereby ruling out the router, etc.
Late last night I uninstalled AntiSpam and rebooted. I
was then able to connect and thought my troubles were
over. This morning (for the first time) I tried checking
my email and OE 6.0 now cannot connect to the net, but IE
6.0 can. I've gone through all the account settings, etc.
and nothing has changed there. I assume that there is
some reminant of the AntiSpam program lurking somewhere
that's interferring with OE.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

P.S. Stay away from Norton AntiSpam. I'm waiting for a
response from their snail-speed tech suport.

Many other OE users share your pain, John. I'm afraid this is something
Symantec will have to assist you with (and don't be shy about demanding a
refund).
