Oddest Send Issue Ever

Outlook 2007: If I manually entered email addresses into "TO" "CC" BCC"
fields the email message sends without a hitch. If I populate these fields
with addresses from Contacts the message just sits in the Outbox regardless
of numerous cycles of automatic send/receive. If I click on the send/receive
button it's like a machine gun suttter display box with multiple
send/receives without stopping. Outlook locks up in this state. Nothing
shows up in the Sent box. And recipients get mutiple copies. I've deleted
email accounts and re-added. Checked that addresses are linked to Contacts.
And have found no similar issue in this forum. Any thoughts my friends?

You have yet to post any information that would permit us to help. Define
this statement:
"If I populate these fields with addresses from Contacts." We have no idea
what that means, and it matters greatly.
Make sure you include all other relevant information, like how you
configured your Outlook Address Book Service and how you migrated your
Contact data to this installation.
