Odd shut down message

R

Ray

I have XP Pro with SP2.
I am the only user of my computer, but when I try to shut down my computer a
message says:
'Other people are logged on to this computer. Shutting down Windows may
cause them to lose data.'
Any solution would be appreciated.
Thank you

Ray,

Is this computer connected to a network? If so it is possible that another
PC on that network is connected to yours through file & printer sharing.
Turn this feature off if you don't need it.

If this isn't the problem, and your PC and network are secured in the
correct manner, then I'd start by tracking down which user account is logged
on. My preferred tool for this is PsLoggedOn from Sysinternals (now part of
Microsoft):

I found that ASP.NET have installed itself as a user.
I just deleted user and it's now ok.
