Odd RAS PPTP issue

I am hoping you all will see whatever I am over looking.
But I an going nuts here.

I have a PPTP server we have been running fine for 3 weeks
(since resubnetting the network) that earlier today,
stopped the routing and remote access service. And that
one was a rebuild of one that had been running with the
same config for 2 years. And inspite of completely
building a PPTP server from scratch I am getting exactly
the same errors

"The currently configured accounting provider failed to
load and initialize successfully. The authentication
server did not respond to authentication requests in a
timely fashion." Event ID20153

and

"The Routing and Remote Access service terminated with
service-specific error 930." Event ID 7024

Now I did find some links on this error being related to
RADIUS which I have never used for this before. But I
even tried setting up radius per the instructions and no
luck I am getting exactly the same error. But I am not
finding out what "accounting provider" is to focus my
efforts.

Never mind,

Can you believe it was due to a bad partition where
logging was directed? Once I rebuilt the partition it
works fine now.

Thanks ! Having somewhere to ask the quesitions always
helps.
