Odd problem w/win2k "add/remove programs"

Dan

I have a dual boot system, originally ME, now 2 hdd's with win2k on each. I
usually run from the newer/larger drive/os. When running under the win2k on
the originally drive, add/remove programs displays the error "Unexpected
error occurred. Class not registered. Res://appwiz.cpl/listbox.htl line
225". Then there is a 2 box display where usually you see only one with all
your installed apps, the top one says "There are no programs installed on
this computer", while below this is a box with all the programs for that
hdd/os. However the change/remove option buttons are dimmed, so no changes
are possible. Am I missing some "permission" here? As far as I can tell I am
logged on as an "Administrator".

TIA

Dan

Did you "upgrade" the WinMe OS or did you install clean? Obviously the applet is not functioning correctly and a reinstall might be
in order.
