Odd Folder

This folder showed up in my root D: hard drive - a12986c6bc0fd6b3e551 and
inside is a file called - msxml4-KB927978-enu.log which is 276 KB. What's it
for?

Open wordpad
Start | Run <type in>
WORDPAD
<enter>

Drag and drop the .log file into it and see what it says.

Update.

kb927978 is this and it came out November 16, 2006...
