ODBC window doesn't appear when wanting to import data

Hi.

In Access, I create a new database and then click File.. Get External Data..
Import. The Import dialog box appears and I choose ODBC Databases () from
the bottom of the drop down list.

Then.. nothing.

The Import dialog box closes and I'm back where I started. On a friends
computer, the ODBC dialog box come us to selecyt a DSN. Mine is not coming
up!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you running Norton Internet Security 2006? If so, try turning off the MS
Office Plug In (Options->Anti Virus->Miscellaneous). It worked for me. I have
spent ages trying to solve this one myself and there doesn't seem to be much
info on it anywhere.
