I realize this is for Access questions, but it's somewhat
related since I need this for my Access database. I
don't know where else to go. We have a computer where we
are trying to set up a system ODBC connection to a SQL
database in order to link it into Access. However, you
can test it and go through the whole process and when
you're finished, it isn't there, but no error message is
given. We were able to successfully get one to show up,
but that's it. I can add it to the User ODBC but would
rather have it in the System. I have never seen this
before and can't find anything in my searches. Does
anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Patti

Make sure you use a LogOnID with Administrator's permission to create a
system ODBC Data Source Name.
