O2K vs. OE

I have in my machines W2K, Office 97 and Outlook 2000. Normally, when you choose "Mail Recipient" in the "Send to" Menu it goes (or it should go) to O2K to write the e-mail. But sometimes, I don't know why, it simply goes to Outlook Express, which is obviously not configured. I guess this comes from the user just clicking OE and this program becoming the default mail manager, but I don't know
But my question is how to revert this situation and put O2K as the default mail program. I know re-installing O2K makes it work, but I'm sure there is a registry key or something to correct this
I also tryied going to Set Program Access and Defaults, but that doesn't make it work because you can only choose between your actual mail program (which is O2K) and OE
Can anyone help me
Thanks!
