O2002SP3 CRASH

On opening, the program displays an error msg: "unable to start
processing services", and some other timmes: "operation failed" when
trying to check mail (send/receive). Then, it usually crashes. I have
tried MS SP3, renaming the outcmd.dat to old, unchecking all my add ins,
etc. Nothing. Any ideas? TIA
 
Did you run Detect and Repair from the Help menu? If you can't get that far,
run repair on Office from the control panel.
