I realize this group doesn't deal with this but please bear with me.
I have a Dell Dimension 8200 SP2 with XP, a 140gb hard drive with
132gb free space and 1024 RAM and Jedi Knight, Jedi Academy is the
only game I have installed on my system.
Recently, I decided to uninstall it which I did, or thought so.
However when I check the Add/Remove programs it's still there. I
checked the Recycle bin and there was a Jedi folder there so I clicked
restore, but the problem is that it won;t let me do anything now.
Whenever I insert the disk it gives me this message:
Assertion Failed:" LecSetup_GetSetup(g_Env["DataDir"],&m_plecSetup)"!
File: Source\lfx_System.cpp
Line: 231
Abnormal Termination.
Select Retry for environment dump.
When I go back into Add/Remove proframs and try to remove it it says:
An installation support file could not be installed.
The System cannot find the file specified.
I have removed it from my system before and didn't encounter any of
these problems.
Can anyone help me either to restore it or to remove it from my
system?
Thanks,
Robert
