My son installed a program called NView. It has many
options such as transparency of program files and stuff I
hate. Is something I have to keep to make my monitor run
better. It is flat screen Gforce or some such thing. I
just received the computer and have some monitor
adjustments to make to make picture clearer. It is 19
inch. I have not seen that this NVIEW has helped it....J

Post this question in alt.comp.periphs.videocards.nvidia. This is a Geforce
ForceWare/Detonator drivers question.

Nview is part of a Nvidea drivers install. Amongst other things it enables
you to alter a number of yr display settings.
Possibly your video drivers were updated, or your son altered the Nview
properties.
I wouldnt advise removal, though if it bothers you untick 'enable nview' in
nview properties.
