Help! I just upgraded my system to XP Pro. Several
generic error messages flashed during the install. The
msgs gave an option to continue loading Win XP with a
caution that the system may be unstable. I did not elect
to over-write whatever windows saw as the problem.
(Frustration: windows does not identify with detail what
the problem is!). After loading (updating) the OS my video
was displaying text and boxes chopped across the screen.
Most pronounced when clicking on start-programs. The
program menu failed to show choices (blank box). I
updated drivers for the subject video card but problem
persisted. Reloaded the XP update and no change. Q: has
anyone had a similar experience with XP and/or Nvidia?

Hey Max,

I have got no problems with my Nvidia GForce 4 MX 440SE. It works fine and
runs smoothly! Have you tried downloading the latest Nvidia Detonator
Drivers from www.nivida.com , that might do the trick ;)

I don't believe Windows Xp is causing this problem it has to be the VGA
card!

Good Luck!

Regards,
Jose Francisco
