HI,

I am having trouble with my graphic card. I have the NVIDIA Gefore 315 series and, since yesterday, code 37 has been showing up in the device status.
I did the troubleshooting. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, using the 'scan for hardware changes' option. I've tried downloading new drivers from NVIDIA's site and that also didn't work. I've tried pretty much all that I can think of and all that I've found on forums, but to no avail!

Can someone help me with this problem?

I think that there might be a problem with the registry. And if not, does this mean then that my graphic card has gone to graphic card heaven?? :S

here is a list of device manager error codes. according to this, 37 refers to device driver initialization failure.

I would check for drivers from nvidia's website.
http://www.geforce.com/Drivers

Boot your computer to Safe Mode
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Remove the driver that is installed in device manager. remove any display adapters that you have not currently installed and functioning. this mainly refers to duplicates of drivers for the same card. usually, people run one card. in today's extreme gaming environments, dual cards can be beneficial.

Boot to normal mode and cancel any new device found dialogue boxes and run the file downloaded for your display adapter from nvidia.

restart the system and try that.
