Nvidia driver

installed nvidia upadate - mistake to do so. restored pc, then downloaded
drivers from nvidea. still having 2 error messages
1. C:\windows\System32\autoexec.nt
Then states system not suitable for running ms-dos & windows apps. This pops
up when attempting to load certain programs from disc.

2. Monitor: Can't find "Bitware NT Agent" Class "WcNTAgent"

any help very appreciated...

Did you attempt to use Microsoft's own huge support knowledgebase to see
if any of those articles address your problem?

I'm not familiar with "Bitware" other that what a Google search will
turn up.

This is only a possible solution!!! Un-install the drivers and then
re-install the drivers from Nvidia. NEVER use the drivers from WU. Go to the
hardware Mfg's web-site and use the latest XP drivers from them.

You should always turn off your anti-virus when installing nvidia's drivers.
I remember having to do so in the past, now I only use ATI, but still follow
this practice. Remember to re-enable your AV when done.

Actually, I disconnect my cable modem and turn off all running applications
before installing any software.
