We have received an email which won't open..... it then refers to
"numbers.pps" and tells us to "create an association in the folders option
control panel" which means absolutely nothing to me ......... can anyone
assist?? what do we need to do to open it???

This is more than likely a file created with Micrsosoft's PowerPoint
software.

Open Windows Explorer and go to (i.e., select)
Tools > Folder Options > File Types

Scroll down to file extension "PPS" and select the PowerPoint Viewer you
downloaded to associate this app with this file type.
