Numbers being converted to decimal

I can not seem to find the reason for why a number I type
ex:11 is converted to .11, if I type 11. it will stay 11.

I checked the formatting it shows as general.

If I convert the cells to text and type then convert back
to number it is fine.

Has anyone ever run into this problem?

Thanks
Dawn

What program are you using, it isn't Windows. Ask in an
Excel, WORKS or whatever group.

Try typing 1100 when you mean 11.00

Just like an adding machine
