Hi - your help is greatly appreciated!
I have created a doc in Word 2003 which instead of using columns for page 1
I have inserted a Textbox in the header. This is so the text stays over to
the right hand side of the page appearing as a second column. The reason
behind this is I want two columns on the first page only and do not want the
columns to go through to the second page if extra text was typed in that
section.
All of the text on this first page is in Outline Numbering which aligns
correctly when opened in Word 2000, XP and 2003 but not in Word 97. The
paragraph indent handles on the ruler still display the alignment of the
numbering (against the left-hand margin) and can be dragged to the required
place but do not change the alignment of the numbering. I also cannot change
alignment of any indented text.
If I delete this textbox from the header the numbering all reverts to the
left-hand side of the page and is in correct alignment.
Any tips please? Thanks in advance,
Lucinda.
