Aye, I noticed that.

Thing is, music charts only started in 1946, as I believe, based on record sales.

Prior to that year, sales were judged on sheet music being sold.

Me neither :confused:

But I do know Guy Mitchell charted quite some time ago with possibly the best version of 'Singin' The Blues'

Other contenders who've covered that song include Tommy Steele & Dave Edmunds.
