number of files scanned

ran for first time and noticed it scanned only 29,000+
files, both adaware and spybot are close to 250,000.
What is the difference?
 
Have you updated your definitions? File > Check for Updates. You must also
remember the architecture of AntiSpyware is different from third party
solutions, what Spybot and adware might recognize as spyware might be false
positives.

Did you do an intelligent quickscan, or a full scan, and, for a full scan,
did you check that all partitions were set to be scanned?
