Number Lock always ON when turn on computer

Whenever I tuen on my computer (running XP Pro), the number lock is always
ON. I have problem with my user passpword. I have to turn off the number lock
before entering my password. Can someone tell me how to switch on my computer
with number lock OFF.

.... Click Start and then click Run
.... Type regedit and Click OK
.... Navigate to "Hkey_users\.Default\Control Panel\Keyboard"
.... Right side, double click "Initalkeyboardindicator" and set it to 0
