Number keys on keyboard not working

Hello there,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any sane and logical reason why my
number keys - the ones on the top row of keyboard - are suddenly not working.
The 5, 6, -, = and \ work but none of the others.

Any suggestions please?

Try turning your key board upside down and slapping the keys to dislodge
food, dust and other particles
OR try another keyboard,
