the hot keys on my keyboard have stopped working, does anyone know why and
how i can get them working again, thanks, julie.

You could try reinstalling your keyboard drivers.

Go to Start | Run, and type DEVMGMT.MSC , highlight the keyboard device,
Action menu, "Uninstall", then restart Windows, to find the device drivers
again automatically.
