NTVDM CPU - Illegal Instruction

Hello all...a few days ago I ran a PC safety scan using Windows Live Safety
Centre. Since that time, I have been having trouble with my PC (on Windows
XP Professional) freezing intermittently whilst connected to the internet,
and have received the following error message:

The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
CS:054b IP:0322 OP:63 03 dd 01 87 Choose 'Close' to terminate the application

I have updated and run full system scans with Norton anti-virus, Spy-bot and
Ad-Aware, and nothing has been detected.

Hoping someone can help. I am desperate to fix the problem, but am not sure
where to start (knowledge of computers is also fairly basic). Thanks in
advance!

Sorry - forgot to mention that the header of the error message read:
C:\Windows\tww.exe

Thanks again!

If you do not know what tww.exe is, delete it from C:\Windows folder. As
near as I can tell it is something for Windows 95 and if you do not need it,
get rid of it. It's also possible that tww.exe is some kind of malware.

Also...

Update your antivirus software and run a full system scan.

Update whatever anti-spyware applications that you have and run a full
system scan with each one.
