$NtUninstallKB282010$ and similar files

After a recent upgrade of XP I ended up with about 30 files like the one
shown above. These are all in the C:\Windows folder. Do these have to be
kept? My system has been working just fine for over a couple of months.

When you install an update, the original files are backed up to a folder and
a link put in Add/Remove programs. If you should ever need to uninstall the
update Windows will restore the original files from this folder. If you are
certain that you will not need to uninstall the updates you can delete the
folders, although I don't recommend doing so.
