$NTUninstall******

I have all these directories inside the WIndows directory. I do not plan on
uninstalling any SPs or hotfixes...SO the big question......Can I safely
delete them....600 meg or so

Hi,

The $NTUninstallKBxxxxxx$ or $NTUninstallQxxxxxx$ folders are backups
of
system files that were replaced when you installed various hotfixes.
If
your system is stable, and you don't need to remove the hotfixes,
these
folders can be removed. For an automated utility to clean up these
folders
and the associated Add/Remove Programs entries, see www.dougknox.com,
Win XP
Utilities, Remove Hotfix Backup Files.

The Remove Hotfix Backup Files utility IS NOT compatible with XP SP2.

Also. remember to delete the LOG files that correspond the folders in
question.
