When you get a ntoskrnl.exe corrupt or damage how do you
correct the problem?
 
When you get a ntoskrnl.exe corrupt or damage how do you
correct the problem?

Set the BIOS to boot CD before Hard Disk. Boot the XP CD and, instead
of Setup, take the immediate R for Repair. Assume any password
requested is blank, and TAB over.

There use the Expand command to expand it from either
windows\driver cache\i386\driver.cab or sp1.cab if you have SP1
installed. - eg the command

Expand "C;\windows\Driver Cache\i386\sp1.cab" /f:ntoskrnl.exe
C:\Windows\System32\ntoskrnl.exe

(that would all be on one line)
