greetings.
my windows xp got hit by "virtual bouncer", spybot s&d
tried to remove it and could not. manually going to
control panel add/remove and removing it started the
problem, programs would not open, total random system
reset. now when attempting to power system up after
system display screen, LTLDR not present, ctrl/alt/del to
restart and then same display, tried to reload windows
from cdrom, and system displays faulty hard/software
screen. each yime reloading will get 3 or 4 points in the
formatting further. last time took excess of 30 formats
to get working again. where can i get a copy of LTLDR. or
is there a way to back up lt loader to prevent this
any ideas??

A copy of the ntldr is on your Windows XP CD. Insert your Windows CD and
reboot. Boot from the CD and wait for setup to load. When prompted, press R
to access the Recovery Console (NOT Automated System Recovery). When asked
to Login, type in "1" without the quotes. Then enter the Administrator
password (if you have not set an administrator password, leave the field
blank). At the next prompt, type in without quotes "copy d:\I386\ntldr c:\".
if done correctly, "1 file(s) copied" should be displayed. Now reboot.
Windows should start normally.
