NTLDR is Missing

Sorry for yet another visit of this topic, but most seem to deal with
existing installations gone bad and mine is for a new computer build (first
one - which might explain my problems). Here is the story:

Everything was okay until got midway through process of installing XP
Professional - initial setup was okay and I had it format a partition of my
HD. When it started the actual installation of XP my problems began - the
process went increasingly slowly and eventually hung up (over 90 minutes and
only 40% installed). I think this was my fault because I have a SATA HD and
it was being recognized as IDE in BIOS. In any event, I couldn't get the
computer to respond (at least I didn't know how to), so I had to reboot and
this is when I began to get "NTLDR is missing" message.

My problem is that I am now unable to boot from any device because of this
NTLDR issue, so I don't know how to fix the problem. Any ideas would be
GREATLY appreciated!

Reboot and go to BIOS setup. There BOOT First setup your CD/DVD-ROM. And
then boot from CD and begin install Windows again. If after set up
CD-Rom as first boot device you computer don't want boot from CD then
flush BIOS (on Motherboard drop the jet. for more information see
motherboard manuals)or maybe set jet on your CD-ROM as PRIMARY SLAVE and
then boot from your CD again and begin install.
