NTLDR is missing

I am looking for a soloution to a box that won't boot.

The error message recived is that it cannot find NTLDR.
However, It is there! I have even restored the original
version (and ntdetect.com) from the recovery console
(booting from CD). I have also tried issuing the commands
FIXBOOT and FIXMBR to no joy.

I have had a look on the KB and its suggesting running a
utility called bcupdate2 - bu cannot find where to
download it. Any ideas?

I hope I don't offend you, but something that is very
simple yet often overlooked is the a: drive.

Have you made sure that you don't have a floppy disk in
the a: drive?

Ah - no. Good idea, but I don't even have a floppy
drive ;-).
