What do you mean by "normal"?NTFS is absolutely normal and far better
than FAT32.[if you want to mean FAT32 as "normal"]
Still if you want to go back to FAT32 then you have to
reformat.Otherwise you can't.

True,unless you happen to have a copy of PQMAgic laying around and want
to roll the dice and use it to convert back to FAT/FAT32

Be warned there is no gaurantee this will work or won't totally bugger
up your data so bad you just format c:\ and reinstall everything.

Hi Jim,

NTFS is "normal" for WinXP. If you are thinking of converting back to a
FAT32 file system, you would need a third-party tool like Partition Magic. I
do not recommend that you attempt this.

The file system on my pc is ntfs. How can i revert back
to normal?.

This isn't quite true. Although there's no native way in Windows
to go from NTFS to FAT32, you can do so with a third-party
utility such as Partition Magic.
