harddisk in any other PC with XP or 2k ... as soon as PC
start a blue screen comes with error message like if u
have newly installed some hardware remove it etc etc.. &
this always happens.. the NTFS harddisk cannot be put in
any other system

I have noticed this thing with Win 2k also... Any NTFS

The XP OS won't boot except on a computer it sees as the one
it was activated on, putting the hard drive in another
computer and it sees all new hardware.

Because each PC most likely has a different type motherboard and/or disk I/O
controller which requires specialized drivers - drivers that are not
installed - so it can't read the drive without the proper drivers. This is
why in all NT OS's (XP, 2k3, 2k, NT), a repair install of Windows is
required when the motherboard and/or Disk Controller is not replaced with an
exact duplicate.
