With the restrictions you've specified, there's no way.

Without third-party software (like Partition Magic) you can't :-)

You cannot convert from NTFS to FAT*. You can only convert from FAT* to
NTFS with builtin Windows tools (convert.exe).

Can you not simply copy your data from the second drive to the first hard
drive or to CD? Then you can easily reformat the second drive as FAT32 and
copy the data back.

lol. It sounds like you have your work cut out for you.

lol, first hard drive, 13gb, less then 2gb free, second drive, 40gb, has 20
gb plus on it, so nope. well yeah, i can transfer to my own pc over lan,
lol, didn't think of that, oopps, lol.

cus what i wanna do is install suse 8.2 linux from there, on my own pc, over
the lan, but, it doesn't see ntfs so it needs to be fat32, lol. geese, i
should have thot of that. copy to my own pc which has an 80gb drive and tons
of free space, lol, :)

but now i gotta figure out how to install over the lan suse 8.2. cus i
downloaded frpm suse ftp all files, 4gb or so.
