NTDS Replication

Amir M.

Hi,

On our main domain controller I found the following
Information event ID 1226 (NTDS Replication) in Directory
Service:

"The object
DC=WW2,DC=OurDomain.nbtgroup.com,CN=MicrosoftDNS,CN=System,
DC=OurDomain,DC=nbtgroup,DC=com (with objectGuid <GUID#1>)
was created on a remote server. However, this name is
already in use here by the object with objectGuid <GUID#2>.

The object with objectGuid <GUID#2> will be renamed to WW2
CNF:<GUID#2>, since the other object claimed the name
first."

This event occured when I connected to our VPN from home
with the computer named WW2. I should mention that WW2
was once joined to our domain and was never put back in
Workgroup.

Should I be concerned about that Information event?

Thanks
