Dcpromo succeeds but replication fails

T

Tim Howell

I have a domain with a single Win2K domain controller. Yesterday I
installed Win2K3 Server on a second server in the domain. I ran adprep
/forestprep and adprep /domainprep on the Win2K server. I used the
version of adprep on disc 2 of the Win2K3 Server R2 media so that the
schema was updated to version 31. Adprep ran successfully both times.

After running adprep I ran dcpromo on the Win2K3 Server. Dcpromo
completed successfully, but said that the domain hadn't been replicated
because of an error. The message said that replication would occur
after a restart. Well, a restart and 24 hours later, still no
replication. I am, however, getting the following errors (and a couple
of others) in the event log on the Win2K3 box.

At the bottom of the list I have the output from repmon /showreps.

Any ideas?

Thanks! =)
