NTDS Error

I seized the FSMO role for Schema Master and Domain Naming
master successfully and gave it to the very first server
that was upgraded to W2K server, who is also the PDC
emulator, RID Master, and Infrastucture master. That
server is not a Global Catalog server. I install Active
Directory Connector on the Global Catalog server. Now on
all my DC's in Event Viewer for Directory Services I am
getting the following error messages:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: NTDS KCC
Event Category: Knowledge Consistency Checker
Event ID: 1014
Date: 12/8/2003
Time: 10:59:15 AM
User: N/A
Computer: HEART
Description:
The replication topology update task terminated abnormally
with code e0010001.

Now What do I do to get rid of this message

Every instance of this error I have seen seems to be solved by making
sure that all the 2000 domain controllers are running the latest
service pack.

They all have Service Pack 4 with the latest updates.
Like I said this did not happen until I had to seize the
FSMO role and installed ADC.

You might want to post this question to the Exchange group since it
occured after installed the ADC.

Why did you have to seize the role. Was the machine that had the
role not available to transfer the role. If that machine was not
available and it is no longer participating in AD, have you cleaned
out any references to it from AD by doing a Metadata Cleanup?

Just dcpromo to demote the server and then dcpromo promote
again.
