or something like that. I had no idea what it was so i
formatted the hard drive and tried to do another clean
full install. but now i get an error message
reading "NTDLR is missing" what is this? can someone
please help me out here. my email is

Sounds like a problem I once had to deal with; sounds as if the the
first error message you received was "Setup Cannot Find the End-User License
Agreement, setup will not continue". Are you formatted with the fat system?

However, after remedying this, I had the "ntdrl file is missing" error. I
had to copy files from Ntdetect.com and Ntldr files from the I386 folder.

Below - courtesy of Doug Knox - may or may not help.

"The NTLDR not found message may be caused by the C:
partition not being marked as Active. If you have one, use a Win98 boot
disk to boot the computer. At the A: prompt, type in FDISK Use its
options to mark the C: partition as active. If you don't have a 98 boot
disk, you can download the files to create one
from www.bootdisk.com".
