NTDLR ?'s

I have a laptop computer thats fairly new (within 2 yrs) and when I went to
start it, it states "Missing NTDLR" and won't start up. The laptop has
Windows XP Home Edition. I don't have any restore disk or anything to try to
reload it. I would appreciate any assistance in this matter.

You receive an "NTLDR is missing" error message when you start your computer

Yes....it also states to " Press ctrl+Alt+Del to restart.... but I get the
same message. By pressing the F10 key at loadup, I can get to the BIOS Setup
Utility but I'm not real familiar with what I'm doing in this area. By
pressing F8, I try to get to the "SafeMode" bu tget the same previous
message. Is there a Win XP Home Edition restore disk or anything
available????

You need to have a real operating system cd in order to fix this error.
If your laptop did not come with one, find a friend who has an XP Home
disk and follow the instructions in the link Rock gave you. Otherwise,
take the laptop to a professional computer repair shop (not your local
equivalent of BigStoreUSA). The pro at the shop can also test your
laptop to see why you are getting the error. If there is a hardware
fault, that will need to be addressed also.
