Interesting, and it may, indeed, be that NTBackup will, in the end, d
all the right things to restore a disk. Please do let us know how yo
get on!
Still, if you select just one or some of those files (and not th
system state option) it should back them up, it's what you told it t
do. At the very minimum it should say something and/or put somethin
in the log to explain why it didn't, and there should be something i
the documentation (or a KB article) about it so folks like you and
aren't wondering why some files still have the Archive bit on after
Normal backup.
Anyone know a channel to formally report this to Microsoft? (Othe
than calling their support line....)
