Hi,

On a Widows Server 2003 machine I receive the following error sometimes:

Error: Insufficient memory available.
The operation was ended.
Directories: 0
Files: 0
Bytes: 0
Time: 1 second
Error: C: is not a valid drive, or you do not have access.

It doesn't matter what I backup. When I test with a small number of files
the same happens. When trying a couple of times it works most of the time.

I tried to reinstall de tapedevice driver, reboot the
server and search Microsoft's Technet. I did find some old (nov.2003)
messages in this newsgroup from other people with the same problem but no
solution.

Anyone any idea?

Kind Regards,

Robert Haerkens

This issue is usually resolved by re-installing the latest service pack.

It is Windows 2003 Server so there are no servicepacks. I did however,
install all hotfixes.
