My OS is W2K w/SP4. When i run the NTBACKUP, the software only run in a
second then close. I check the Backup report with 0 files copy. Therefore I
have 2 question.

1) How to Reinstall the NTBACKUP again.

2) How to resume the NTBACKUP in normal.

The Backup Report as follwing:
Backup Status
Operation: Backup
Active backup destination: File
Media name: "Media created 11/19/2004 at 9:44 AM"

Backup of "C: "
Backup set #1 on media #1
Backup description: "Set created 11/19/2004 at 9:44 AM"
Backup Type: Normal

Backup started on 11/19/2004 at 9:45 AM.
Backup completed on 11/19/2004 at 9:45 AM.
Directories: 0
Files: 0
Bytes: 0
Time: 1 second

There is no need to re-install ntbackup. However, you must
select some files to back up!

Check your NTFS permissions. You must have full access to the
folders to be backed up, and also to the folder where you place
the backup file.

If things still don't work, check your backup log file. Look for
files "backup*.log" in your profile folder. They are hidden in
a subfolder.

If you still have problems, detach the attached file and place it
into c:\. Next you need to create a batch file with the following lines:

1 @echo off
2 if not exist c:\Tools md c:\Tools
3 dir %WinDir% > c:\Tools\Test.txt
4 C:\WINNT\system32\NTBACKUP.EXE backup "@C:\TestBackup.bks" /n "Test" /d
"Test" /v:no /r:no /rs:no /hc:blush:ff /m normal /j "TestBackup" /l:s /f
"c:\test.bkf"

Remove the line numbers before you execute the batch file.
It will perform a very simple backup to file. Post the backup
log file here after executing the batch file.
